The application filing window for the second round of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program will open Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 12:00 PM ET. Running one week, the filing window will close Thursday, May 6, 2021.

The Program under the Federal Communications Commission was first established in April 2020 and provided with $200 million through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. Congress provided an additional $249.95 million to the Program late last year through the Consolidated Appropriations Act, to support this second round of funding and further assist health care providers setting up the infrastructure necessary to provide services via telehealth. The new round of the program will be administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).

Applications for the Program may be filed through a dedicated application portal, available on the COVID-19 Telehealth Program webpage. Round 1 applicants that were not funded will need to submit a new application. For additional information on Round 2, please refer to the Universal Service Administrative Company’s website. If you have specific questions regarding the Round 2 application process, please reach out to USAC at Round2TelehealthApplicationSupport@usac.org.
