At it's April, 2008 meeting the NMTHA directed the Executive Committee to begin compiling a statewide inventory of telehealth programs, sites, and infrastructure.  This page serves a record of that effort and a point of information exchange.

Progress
  • April 24, 2008 - The working group held its kick-off meeting at Technet from 0900-1030.  Attendees included Dale Alverson, Greg Blackwell, Terry Boulanger, Stephen Burd, Arturo Gonzales, Jerry Harrison, Bob Longstreet, Paul Nelson, and David Roddy.  Participants exchanged a great deal of information, discussed technical and coordination issues, and raised several important questions to be resolved ASAP.  Stephen Burd will serve as the information collector and distributor.  He will provide a preliminary summary to the NMTHA Board at its May meeting and will generate one or more inventory documents for review by the working group.
  • September 3, 2008 - Stephen Burd developed a one-page project description to implement a web-based information system to track telehealth resources.  The project has been added to a list of potential projects for student groups enrolled in the capstone systems development course (MGMT 461) at the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico.  Students will choose their projects within two weeks and if a student or student group chooses the project Stephen Burd will serve as an advisor.
